Dr. Dave’s Doggy Daycare is Fun and Safe

When you leave your furry friend with us, you can be confident that he or she will have a great time! Dogs in our care get to interact with humans and other dogs, and they get plenty of attention. Dogs in our care must be current on their vaccinations, so that everyone stays healthy, and each dog must pass an evaluation before joining a playgroup, so everyone will be safe. Our animal care attendants are trained in dog behavior, and we know how to give dogs a chance to be part of a pack in a controlled environment. The dogs get to play throughout the day, and they’re monitored to make sure that all the dogs are happy, content, and playing well together.  Our hours are flexible, and you can use our doggy daycare in the morning, evening, or on the weekends. Dog-walking services are available three times a day to make sure your dog gets the necessary exercise, and our facilities are kept clean, sanitary, and safe.

A Typical Morning at Doggy Daycare

When our doggy friends arrive in the morning, each dog is checked in for the desired amount of time, whether that’s a half day or full day. Once this brief administrative work is done, the dogs are brought back to the group play area. There, they get to play and socialize with other dogs who share their temperament and size. Because we know that dogs love to play for hours on end, we let them play all day long! When the weather is nice, they get to go outside for fresh air and sunshine, and during play time, each dog is taken on an individual walk outside, given special attention and affection from a dog handler. While we know that dogs love to play together, we also know it’s important for dogs to get attention from humans and take a break from the action.

A Break for Lunch Before Afternoon Play

If your dog came with special treats or lunch, there will be a break from play time to eat in a location away from the other dogs. The dogs get to rest for a bit, and once they’ve finished eating, afternoon playtime begins. There’s fun and games with their doggy friends and the dog handlers, and lots of love and affection from the staff. After some playtime, each dog gets a second walk, and after that, we say goodbye to our half-day guests, while full-day dogs go back to the group for more play and socialization. Whether your dog stays for a half day or full day, you can expect to take home a tired but happy pup!
